Sven Goran Eriksson
This man is one of the most respectful football managers in the world today.
He has coached both national teams and club teams and has an remarkable carrier behind him.
Sven was born in 1948 in Sweden. He grew up in a little town called Sunne in Varmland.
He started of his training carer as an assistant manager in a Swedish team called Degerors.
Soon he was the head coach of the team and did a wonderful work.
The at the time big team IFK Gothenburg later drafted Sven to become their Football Manager the rest is history.
The team won the UEFA cup in 1982 that made them the first and only Swedish team thru history to win the tournament. In Sweden the team was number one and soon Sven got offers from international Clubs. Sven later on moved to Portugal to become Benficas Football manager. After a few years in Portugal Sven moved to Italy. Their he managed teams like Sampdoria, Roma , Fiorentina and Lazio. Svennis won the scudetto with Lazio 2001 witch made him an historical man there.
After the historical win with Lazio he took over the English national team in 2001. He took the team to three straight championships but decided to quit after a big scandal with the press. So after England’s defeat against Portugal in the quarterfinal of the World Cup 2006 Sven Goran Eriksson decided to resign.
Today he is managing the premiership team Manchester City.
